ADMIRAL YACHT CLUB

  • Do I have to pay the All Inclusive fee if I check in on another day?
    You pay for the All Inclusive fee, for the total of days you are properly registered into the property.
  • How do I get my private Yacht?
    Upon arrival to Sunset Lgoon Resort & Marina, a professional Concierge will give you all the information about our fleet, schedules and itineraries to choose from. At the moment of your desission you shall select you onboard menu and boarding pass. We also recommend that you contact us before the beginning of your trip at yachting@sunset.com.mx
  • Who will navigate my Yacht?
    Your Yacht includes Captain and crew, fuel, all safety features and some drinks and food.
  • How many hours of private Yacht are we entitled to?
    If you have from 2 to 4 adults staying in the same unit, you will be entitled to 4 hours of private cruising. If 5 people or more are staying in the same unit, you can take up to 8 hours. For additional hours, please ask your reservations Manager or you Concierge to find an RCI preferential member’s rate.
  • How far are Sunset Royal and Sunset Lagoon from downtown Cancun?
    Sunset Royal and Sunset Lagoon are located in the heart of Cancun´s Hotel Zone, we are located only ¾ of a mile from the main shopping areas and Nigh Clubs. Only 20 minutes from the airport and 25 minutes away from down town (8 Miles).
  • How do I get from Royal Sunset to Sunset Lagoon?
    For your convenience, we have a shuttle bus that runs between both hotels every hour between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. We also have shuttle boats that run back and forth between both properties during the day.
  • Are telephone calls included?
    All telephone calls have a charge, even 800 numbers. To verify the rates you are welcome to call the Hotel Operator.
  • How do we get around?
    If you wish to visit Down Town Cancun, the public buses provide excellent service, running 24 hrs. a day, for only $6.50 pesos each trip. You can take it if you want to go down town to explore the local markets, banks, churches, etc. Taxi cabs are also very convenient and safe, but not as cheap.
  • Do you provide Beach Towels or do we bring them down from the room?
    Beach towels can be requested by the pool area, right next to the Sports and entertainment booth. If you are going to return them after 6:00 p.m., please deposit them at the front desk to avoid any charges.
  • Is the water safe to drink?
    All the water supplied is purified, although we don’t recommend you drink the tap water since it has high contents of minerals your body may not be accustomed to.
  • Is the Room service included?
    As part of the All Inclusive benefits we have Room Service available, in your rooms you will find a menu with a wide variety of options to choose from.
  • Where do we go, what do we do?
    For reservations for our outside or optional activities such as our renowned Hacienda Nights, bicycle tour, City Tour, outside restaurant coupons or massage coupons, pless go to the Concierge Desk or anyone from the Sports and entertainment staff.
  • Where should we exchange currency?
    US and Canadian Dollars can be exchanged at the Hotel’s Front Desk, 24 hrs a day. Other currency can only be exchanged at any of the local banks before 2:00 p.m. ATM available at the Sunset Royal only. For nearby Bank locations, please contact the VIP Services Desk.
  • Where do we keep our valuables?
    Remember that safety boxes are located inside the closets; please deposit all your documents and valuables there.
  • What about tours and activities?
    In our Travel Agency remember to validate your RCI special discounts, which will be informed to you by the Concierge Department, located right in front of the Front Desk.
  • What about the electricity?
    All rooms are equipped with hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Electrical voltage is 110 Watts.
  • What is the minimum age to check in?
    Persons under the age of 25 years must be accompanied by a Parent (s) in the same unit.
  • Do you offer Handicap facilities?
    We don’t have regulated handicap facilities but we are willing to accommodate on lower level units.
  • Are Sunset Hotels pet friendly?
    No pets are allowed
  • Do you offer unit upgrades?
    All the Units confirmed by RCI are final. You may request upon check in if there is any availability.
  • Do you have High Speed Internet Access?
    Free internet wireless access at the Sunset Royal´s main lobby, and in Sunset Lagoon´s lobby with an additional charge.
  • What do I need to bring with me at the check in time?
    Credit card, ID card and confirmation letter.
  • Can I request special unit in advance?
    Units are assigned upon arrival on a first come, first serve basis.
