Should I pay the All Inclusive fee if I check in one day after the appointed check-in date?
You should pay for the total of days that you are registered in the hotel.
- How far is Cancun Downtown from Sunset Royal and Sunset Lagoon?
Sunset Royal and Sunset Lagoon are located in the heart of the hotel zone of Cancún. We are only one km away from the main shopping centers and nightlife of Cancún. 20 minutes away from the Airport and 25 minutes from Downtown by bus. (6.2 miles)
- How can I go back and forth between Sunset Royal and Sunset Lagoon?
We offer a micro bus transportation service for your convenience, that runs every hour from one hotel to the other from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. from monday to friday and we also have boat service to cross the lagoon connecting both properties.
- Are the telephone calls included?
All telephone calls generate a cost, even toll free numbers, please check the fees with the operator.
- How can I go to Cancún?
If you want to visit downtown, the public service is excellent, and runs 24 hours a day and the ticket fare is $6.50. You can take it if you want to go to the city to visit markets, banks, churches, etc. Taxis are also very convenient, even they are more expensive.
- Do you provide towels for the beach or we must bring them down from the rooms?
The beach towels may be requested in the swimming pool area next to the entertainment and sporting booth, likewise they must be returned or they can be deposited in the front desk after 6:00 p.m.
- Is the water purified?
All the water in the hotel is purified, nevertheless it is not recommended to drink water from the faucet, since maybe you are not used to the high concentration of minerals that it has.
- Is room service included?
As part of the All Inclusive, you have the benefit of room service included, you will find a menu with a great variety of options to choose.
- Where to go and what to do?
To reserve optional daily activities like Fiesta Hípica Mexicana, biking tours, city tours, massage or restaurants outside you can go to Concierge or any other person from the entertainment and sporting activities staff.
- Where can I exchange money?
For money exchange, please go to reception or a nearby bank before 2:00 P.M. There is an ATM at Sunset Royal .
- Where can I keep my documents and valuables?
Remember that there are safe deposit boxes into the rooms, where you can deposit your valuables and documents, if you are in the All Inclusive plan, you don’t need to carry money on you.
- What tours and activities can I find?
In our travel agency you choose the tours for the week. Remember that you have a special discount as RCI member, that can be explained by Concierge, that is located in front of reception
- Which electronic devices will I find in the room?
Every unit is equipped with a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and the electricity voltage is 110 Vlts.
- Which is the minimum age to reserve?
People under 25 must be accompanied by an older adult staying in the same unit.
- Are there facilities for handicapped?
We don’t have special facilities for disabled but we can offer ground floor rooms.
- Are pets allowed in Sunset Hotels?
No. They are not allowed.
- Can I upgrade my room?
The units for RCI members are definitive, but you can request upgrade availability upon you arrival.
- Do you have Internet access?
In Sunset Royal, Sunset Lagoon, Sunset Fisherman we have free wireless Internet access in the Lobby area
- What do I need to check in?
The confirmation letter, copy of ID per person and a credit card.
- Can I request a special location in my unit?
All units are assigned at the time of check in, reason why they are subject to availability.
